Brandon Smith: Alabama’s New Commit

For the second time this week, Nick Saban and the Alabama staff has flipped a commit to the Tide. Rico McGraw is the Tide’s 21st commit for the 2015 class. McGraw is from Nashville, TN and is the Tide’s frist commit from the state of  Tennessee. Alabama has 10 players committed to them from 10 different states.

Rico McGraw is 6-foot, 190 pounds and plays defensive back. McGraw was recruited by Kevin Steele and Kirby Smart. McGraw told 247Sports Director of Scouting Barton Simmons on Thursday “As of last night, I decommitted from Georgia and committed to Alabama.”

McGraw committed to Georgia January 16th. Since then he has visited Alabama and Tennessee. Rico was in Tuscaloosa in June and attended Alabama’s camp. McGraw is the 128th player in the nation and ranks 13th amongst the cornerbacks.
