Our nation’s capital housed two important men Thursday, President Barack Obama and former Alabama running back Derrick Henry. Henry was given the honor of providing the closing prayer during the annual National Prayer Breakfast.

The 2015 Heisman winner, Southeastern Conference champion and national champion shared a special moment with the 44th commander in chief, striking the “Heisman pose.”

Alabama congressman Robert Aderholt released news through social media earlier this week on Henry’s contribution for the event. He posted a video via Facebook of Henry’s closing prayer.

The 6-foot-3, 242-pound running back had a stellar year, recording 2,219 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns on 395 carries. He is projected to be taken between the first and second round of the upcoming NFL Draft.
