Former Alabama standout and current Houston Texans defensive tackle Brandon Ivory was arrested Wednesday in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for first-degree burglary.

According to al.com writer Stephen Dethrage, officers responded to a burglary call Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. in the 1700 Block of E. 17th Ave. They spoke with two victims that said the suspects kicked in the back door, and robbed them of cash and electronics.

An assault rifle and a knife were both used in the burglary.

Ivory, 23, was charged with two counts of first degree burglary and was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail. His bond is set at $120,000. Nicholas Gerald Gibson III, 21, was Ivory’s partner in the burglary. The Tuscaloosa native is also in jail, pending a $120,000 bond.

Ivory, 6-foot-4, 308 pounds, was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent. He played at Alabama from 2010-14, and totaled 13 tackles in 14 games last season.
