2016 WR A.J. Brown has turned in some stellar numbers thus far, only two games into his senior season at Starkville (MS) High School. The 4-star prospect has 339 yards receiving on 30 receptions and a touchdown.

Last Friday in the Little Egg Bowl against rival Oxford, Brown finished the game with 16 receptions for 192 yards as the Yellow Jackets came away with a 20-7 win.

Although many believe A.J. is leaning towards one of the two SEC schools in Mississippi, most notably Mississippi State, Brown has expressed a great deal of interest in the Crimson Tide over the past few months.

In fact, according to an article on al.com, the Alabama staff is recruiting Brown “the hardest out of everybody.” It only takes a few minutes of watching his tape to understand why that is.

Through impeccable footwork and great use of his hands, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound receiver almost always gets the ball in space and makes one or more defenders miss before he goes to the ground.

Brown is being recruited to Alabama by running backs coach Burton Burns and wide receivers coach Billy Napier.
